September Meeting
Our next meeing is September 9 at 7:00 PM.

Welcome back. We hope your summer was a great one. It’s almost fall and that means it is time for another exciting season at the Bloomingdale Artists Association.
We kick off this year with Cheryl Mahowald who will be teaching Handmade Paper Circles. This is part of the Treewhispers collaborative project.

Cheryl will spend part of the time demonstrating how to make paper and then members will make their own paper, which will be formed into circles. You can contribute one of your circles to the Treewhispers project if you choose.

To learn more about this program go to the Treewhispers Project website.

This program does require members to bring a few items from home. You will need:
-> One baking or cafeteria tray to carry the paper.
-> An old sheet cut to the size of your tray. Paper will be made in layers on the trays. Sheets are used to separate the layers.
-> One apron, preferably waterproof.

It sounds like a great night. Plan to join your friends for a fun evening as we reconvene our group.

If you are interested in further study in the book and paper arts, please visit BPAG: The Book and Paper Arts Guild and Prairie Spirit Papers, both run by Cheryl and Carla.
